2/9 Homework Update

The latest homework assignment was 3.5 which was due yesterday and today. You can find a copy of it below. Also, you will be able to find the study guide for the chemical reactions test, which is on Thursday and Friday of this week.

Reminder: Homeworks 3.1-3.5 must be turned in on the day the student is taking the test, or they will receive an NC for that assignment (with no chance to make it up). Doing the study guide allows for ONE make up of a homework assignment. If all homeworks have been turned in, it will count for extra credit on the test.

The test will be Thursday, February 10 or Friday, February 11, depending on when your student has science class. Make sure they study!

2/1 Homework Update - News Flash: Students Will Fail if They Don't Do Homework!

I haven't updated in a while, but since I'm not convinced that anyone actually looks at this, I'm not too worried.
Students have had 4 homework assignments since starting the new semester. I'll be labeling them with the number of the quarter followed by the number of the assignment. Therefore, the ones we've had so far have been 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4. I check homework assignments at the beginning of each class now. They are graded for completion, therefore, if it is complete, they get an "A". If it is less than 75% completed, they will not receive credit and will need to make up the assignment. They can make up any assignment before the next test (which, by the way, is next week) for a maximum grade of a "C". After the test, they will not be able to turn in the assignment or do anything to make up the grade (unless of course they were absent and missed the work).
Again, I will not allow homework to be made up after the test date. They will receive an "F" and it will stay an "F".
Thanks! Here are the assignments that you can print out and have your students turn in at their leisure. Feel free to email me or call me if you'd like to know that your student is missing any assignments.
